This project is read-only.

Installing the site is a doddle,

  1. Enable both Standard & Enterprise SharePoint features (Site Collection)
  2. Upload the WSP to your site collection's solution gallery & activate
  3. Create a new site from the CRM V1.2.0.1 template

Please Note - When creating a site on Office 365, you will most likely be greeted with the message "An error has occurred while processing your request" Don't panic, instead just wait a few more minutes and your site will appear.  For the impatient, You can check progress, by going to the view all site content link within the new site (

Post Installation Steps

There are a optional updates you may wish to make once the site has been installed:

Region Updates

As standard SharePoint CRM will display sales totals using the $ symbol.  Updating your site to display an alternative currency is as simple as overwriting some of the existing files.  Here's how:

  1. From the Site Actions menu, choose View All Site Content
  2. Navigate to the Site Assets document library, then the XSL sub folder
  3. Upload the XSL files from within an update pack below, overwriting the previous files

 UK £ Symbol

Let me know using either the discussion forums, issue tracker, or feedback form if you require an alternative currency symbol.

If you wish to use Reporting you will need to update reports to point to your SharePoint lists :

  1. Using the View all Site Content link, open the sales list
  2. Use the Export to Excel feature
  3. From the Data menu within Excel, copy the connection details (Command Text)
  4. Within the CRM view the sales report page and choose Open in Excel
  5. Paste in the new connection details

Repeat the above steps for the Tasks & Projects reports.

Once you have created a site from the template you can customise it to meet your organisations needs:

This CRM Package for the SharePoint 2013 was designed during the BETA release of SharePoint 2013. Is it possible for you to rebuild this solution and generate a solution package for The SharePoint 2013 Nov 2013 Release? Also importing this package using the recommended SharePoint 2013 Deployment process fails on "Feature 2 of 4" when imported in the solution. Please update the builds through your VS 2012 App and Solution SDK and redistribute this solution...

Hello - I tried installing this and I got an Error when trying to create a new site using this template - "The site template requires that the Feature {some GUID ID} be installed in the farm or site collection"
Is there a step I am missing? The Standard/Enterprise collection features are enabled, we are running a curent version of 2010. Little help please...
Thanks - Peter
